Sams/Hockaday & Associates Sponsors Special Olympics Event

Millikin University in Decatur, IL hosted a Special Olympics Basketball event in November where over 100 youth and adults showcased their basketball skills by going through relay races and contests, including some scrimmage games.

Coordinated by in-house agency manager Michael Sams, agents and families from Sams/Hockaday & Associates came together to assist the participants and cheer them on. The enthusiasm from each participant was infectious! We ended the event with a group photo and each Special Olympics participant was awarded a treat donated by Pepsi (and they were pretty excited about that!).
